Hurricane Lowell Update: Tours Cancelled Through September 16

Aloha,

Hurricane Lowell has had a significant impact on Kauaʻi. As our island community begins the work of recovery, our focus remains on supporting our team and community, assisting with cleanup efforts, and assessing local infrastructure and our operations.

All Holoholo Charters tours are cancelled through September 16, 2026. We will continue to assess conditions and provide an update regarding tours beyond September 16 as soon as we have a clearer understanding of our operational timeline. Cancellations may extend beyond this date.

Power has not yet been fully restored across the island, and we are currently operating with limited staff. Our ability to respond to calls and emails may be limited, and replies may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as we prioritize guests with the most immediate reservations.

For broader travel advisories and updates related to Hurricane Lowell, please visit the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority’s alerts page. We will continue to share updates about Holoholo Charters tours here as we learn more.

Mahalo nui loa for your understanding, kindness, and the thoughtful messages of support we’ve received. Your care for our team and our island means so much during this time.

We will continue to update this page as we learn more.
