A Locally Crafted Lager Inspired by the Nāpali Coast
In a locally crafted collaboration inspired by the iconic Nāpali Coast and a shared spirit of adventure, Holoholo is proud to present Let’s Holoholo Light Lager by Honolulu Beerworks. Holoholo Light Lager features a bright, crisp flavor profile with soft herbal notes, a touch of white peach, and plenty of aloha. It’s best enjoyed alongside views of the Nāpali Coast, off the coast of Niʻihau, or aboard one of our catamarans in search of the perfect sunset.
Holoholo loosely translates to “let’s go!” in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi. Whether it be a leisurely walk, sail, surf, or other journey of the mind or spirit, holoholo represents an escape to your truest self. Here in Hawaiʻi, that journey often begins with embracing nature and the mana that the islands exude. We have the privileged role of welcoming guests to join us on a once-in-a-lifetime voyage every day, and we assure you that the novelty does not wear off. Experiencing the wonder and exquisite beauty of the Nāpali Coast first-hand is a feeling that remains in the hearts of our staff day after day, and stays with our guests long after they’ve bid us a hui hou. We hope you can tap into the feeling of genuine awe, salt on your skin, and dolphins in your wake with every crack of each Holoholo Light Lager.
Our joint venture with the fantastic brewers at Honolulu Beerworks is not just an option to hang loose, but an extension of the Holoholo experience. We create opportunities for our employees to thrive within a culturally mindful and eco-friendly work environment built on respect, trust, and connection. To say we are a tour company doesn’t fully encompass what we do. Our shared experiences create a beautiful bond of familiarity, ʻohana, and special moments that bring us all together. We pride ourselves on doing things pono and staying true to our local roots and communities, so pairing with a Hawaiʻi-based brewery was important to us.
Honolulu Beerworks and Holoholo share the desire to welcome guests with aloha and provide them an authentically Hawaiian experience, but most of all, we align on our shared commitment to sustainability and preserving our most treasured resource–the ocean. As Hawaiʻi-based businesses, it’s important to use our platforms to boost programming that protects marine life and our natural resources. The ocean has been our office since 1997, so Holoholo has made minimizing the footprint of our everyday operations a priority. Not only do we build all our vessels on island, but we stress the importance of reef-safe sunscreen to protect our precious reef and delicate ecosystem. We have implemented reusable service ware to minimize waste and employ local caterers to provide farm, land, and sea-to-table dining options on board. We practice responsible anchoring and mooring, and most of all, build our vessels to utilize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
Similarly, Honolulu Beerworks has implemented The Next Swell program, which aims to cultivate future generations of marine conservationists and scientists by heightening public awareness of ecological concerns and by partnering with representatives from the local community to foster continued education and real-world impact in the pursuit of cleaner and healthier marine ecosystems. The Taproom at Honolulu Beerworks offers a community gathering space for guests to sample their craft beer selection while holding space for local artists to display their work, and rotating food trucks to connect with and nourish the community. Check out Honolulu Beerworks’ other sustainability initiatives, including a collaboration with the Hawai‘i Snail Extinction Prevention Program.
We look forward to a continued relationship with Honolulu Beerworks moving forward, and hope to see you on the water!
E holoholo kākou!
